Roots Bar is a small gastro pub (with a big heart) and live music venue that serves as the beating pulse of Golden Bay’s creative community. On any given night you’ll find a mash-up of locals, travellers, musos, and misfits gathered over local craft beers, delicious burgers, and the best sound system in Tasman. Our events span from hip-hop to heavy funk, punk, dub to disco, DnB to vinyl sessions to open mics, with everything in between. Often spilling into spontaneous dance floors or courtyard open fire connections.
