The Button Factory is a community-first arts initiative in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland. We are a versatile space used for event hire, performances, live music, creative rehearsals and productions, community gatherings and workshops, gallery exhibitions, and immersive and experimental arts events. We host, support, and create over 50 art activations per month, spanning a wide range of disciplines, celebrating the richness and breadth of talent within our community. Additionally, we serve as a community hub and art gallery, offering a free online and in-person space for creatives to work, gather, get inspired, and connect. Our mission is to support the arts community in the biggest possible picture; to provide more opportunities to keep the creative heart of Aotearoa (and the world!) beating steadily.
