The Fat Owl, the guiding image of this venture, is not only a supreme listener but is aware that good sound depends on the context, style, and location of the event. We take great pride in making our setups work in every space, by fine-tuning, listening, and adjusting the gear before and throughout every event.

The Fat Owl rig stands on the Othorn, a superb tapped horn subwoofer with high sensitivity & low-end extension, and low distortion that delivers smooth and powerful hifi-bass. The kick-bass is reproduced by seamlessly integrated 18" bins that will make everyone's chests pump to the beat. The tops convey airy soft and crystal clear highs. Fat Owl Audio has produced a variety of electronic styles (d&b, bass, psy, techno, house) and we also had some magnificent live productions running through the rig. However, the bass on this thing is unreal. So, ja: we do like dubstep.

Rig Specifications:

The full rig has 6x 21" subs (Othorns, B&C drivers), 6x 18" kicks (ES18, Fane drivers), and 6x Sanway tops (similar to Funktion One Res2) - all operated using high-end processor & amplifiers (Powersoft, QSC, MC2, Labgruppen). Up to 20kw (RMS) setups which can cover around 1500ppl. Different size setups possible.
