Void State is the collaborative project of Ōtautahi’s Keepsakes (Turbo Recordings, Perc Trax, Kaos/Oaks) and Ebb (1985 Music, Haven, Abyssal Soundworks). Born from their many pilgrimages to barbeque brains on dance floors under the stars, they aim to combine psytrance production techniques and soundscapes with the more club focused sound palette they are known for individually. This new combination of styles has led to their first release ‘Cobb Valley Time Slip’ on Mani Festo’s imprint FlightPath, bringing four high octane cuts of twisting techno, mutant breakbeats and a style of psytrance that could only have grown in the South Pacific.
