UK-born and Pōneke based, TWO:SHADES has spent the last decade immersed in drum & bass, jungle, dubstep and UK garage culture. Originally drawn to music through rock, it was always the drums and low-end pressure that stood out and naturally led him deep into bass music and the darker corners of UK sound. His sets explore the contrast between weight and space, tension and release. His sets fuse dubstep weight with garage swing and jungle energy, shaped by a distinct UK influence and a focus on atmosphere.
