Drawing on a wide range of inspirations, from punk, trap, hip hop, dubstep, techno and jungle, Aotearoa native & now Perth based DJ/Producer Texture brings a unique take on dance music. She fuses powerful drums, heavy sub bass and rich, warm synths and atmospheres into a genre defying sound that is simultaneously raw, tough, intricate & deep. As a DJ Texture has honed her diverse sound playing support for numerous international acts including Sleeper, Alex Coulton, Machinedrum, Ben UFO. Earning her a spot on the “1985” Keep Hush night held in Christchurch, curated by Alix Perez. Her skills as a producer have led to her being signed to Nomine's own label, Nomine Sound. Also later releasing a collaboration EP with DJ/Producer Ebb on Sicaria’s own imprint Cutcrxss. Texture is not an act to be missed.
