After slapping a couple goons, necking back a few white monsters and carving up some top tier dancefloors to fast & dark tunes, Staunch_1’s new found romance with trance and adjacent forms of dance music is fresh off the press and ready to send. Discovering a few years back that life is far too short to only play one genre or BPM, this fairly renowned and borderline controversial Aotearoa born & raised music enthusiast has definitely learnt a thing or two about pushing buttons and flicking knobs on overpriced DJ equipment, whilst of course clearing a few dancefloors along the way. Focussing on fusing together variants of Tribe, Hard Trance, FreeTekno & Psy with elements of IDM, Progressive Halftime, Leftfield Drum and Bass & Jungle, Staunch_1 aims to deliver various forms of tastefully educational, underground, entrancing forms of sub driven dance music to the heads.
