Tangata Whenua, So&So is a self producing Hip-Hop artist and MC from Te Whanganui-ā-Tara. Coming from one of Wellington's top Hip-Hop bands (Gallery), So&So is a veteran in the Wellington music scene. He has played a number of New Zealand music festivals, from Tora Bombora and CubaDupa to Newtown Fest and Backyard Bass. Fresh off recording his debut EP “Not quite myself”, So&So is about to complete a tour and release his second EP this summer 2025, "E Tu". Priding himself on creating modern Maori Hip-Hop, So&So transcends what it means to make rap music and has an important message to share about kaupapa and tikanga.
