Brendan and Elijah aka Shankara NZ have been making music together with an undeniable passion for over a decade, experimenting with sonic creations together since they first met in high school, their shared passion for music has seen them performing across the globe, most recently at Europe's premier psychedelic festival Ozora, as well as appearances in Australia, the USA and regularly at home in Aotearoa New Zealand. Producing with a unique, melodic, organic and bass heavy style of writing music, the duos sounds span across a wide variety of bass music and all things DUB with notable influences from Dubstep, Jungle, Dubtechno and psychill. With multiple releases on global bass label Shanti Planti, UK based Dubmission, and Desert Trax, Shankara have firmly cemented themselves as a dub force to be reckoned with. Expect a lush sound shower of dub delay, rolling basslines, ethnic melodies and tribal energy, Shankara NZ is always a sonic treat and a lot of fun for everyone.
