Originally hailing from Scotland, Rosa has found a home in Ōtautahi and as a DJ, she has been a popular name in the local underground scene for the last few years. Led by her call to craft sonic experiences for the dancer, Rosa is passionate in her mission to celebrate and connect people through the power of sound. She has developed an affinity for deep, melody-driven tunes, fused with syncopated rhythms, resulting in a signature style that is bass-heavy and often jazzy and soulful. As a vocalist Rosa mirrors her sultry selections adding dynamic melodies and lyrical hooks to the groove, be it on her own or with someone else on the decks, her atmospheric and dulcet tones shine through. As her reputation for delivering impeccable selections and genre blending sets has grown, Rosa has had the opportunity to share the stage with world-class artists such as; Ben UFO, Sully, Machinedrum, Mungos Hifi and Congi, as well as perform at some top NZ music festivals, like Shipwrecked and Rolling Meadows.
