Oscar LaDell is a Soul & Blues artist based in Melbourne, Australia known for his velvety, expansive voice, heartfelt lyricism and guitar mastery. Combining the influence of soul & blues luminaries such as Curtis Mayfield, Muddy Waters, Al Green with a unique, poetic lyrical perspective, Oscar writes, sings and plays with an immediacy and sensitivity to his lived experience and to our time that places his music in a category of its own. After the release of a collaborative blues project with guitarist/producer Chris Armour in 2022, Oscar released his debut solo project, the heartfelt EP No Blue, in late 2024 and has toured New Zealand, Australia, the US & Europe extensively since then. With another US/Europe tour and the release of a string of singles that will culminate in his debut album on the cards for 2026, Oscar is set to continue earning his place as a new artist to watch.
