KUJI (a portmanteau made up of the birth names of Lakeboon and Adult Man Contra) have stayed busy this year by working harmoniously with various crew to put on a string of sold out events, as well as diligently continuing with their mix series under the Insession brand. KUJI take a rivalry-minded approach to DJing, pushing each other to dig deep into the endless melting pot of UK continuum bass music, global percussive sounds, and techno derivatives. Though both technically adept at mixing, the duo’s energy comes from the synergy of their tune selections, each carefully chosen to complement the other’s, fusing disparate genres together to create a cohesive take on ever evolving club culture.
