
Born in the Philippines and residing in Aotearoa, Jousey is a DJ and producer whose sound blends global club influences with UK bass and deep, euphoric textures. A multi-instrumentalist, her high-energy sets draw on her Filipino heritage and her desire to push dancefloors into new territory. She has made a name for herself in New Zealand’s festivals. She has performed at events such as Rhythm & Vines, Rolling Meadows, Baseline, and Mardi Gras. As a resident and co-founder of the Nörty Club Collective, she is focused on creating welcoming spaces for femme, non-binary, queer, and POC communities in nightlife. Her production catalogue showcases her range and bold vision for the club scene. She debuted with “Dai Baku” on Redline Records, a striking first single that gained attention, followed by the energetic track “Trompeta Fiesta.” She has also released impactful remixes of Gwen Stefani’s “Rich Girl” and Beyoncé’s “Naughty Girl” on Nuage Library, along with original tracks like “Swift” and “Where You’ve Been” on DALF records. Most recently, her latest track “Eski Bounce” on Community Service Records combines the signature sound of grime with UK Funky elements, establishing her as one of Aotearoa’s most exciting underground artists.
