Integument is a project based around no input mixing and hardware manipulation, as a result of partners Matt and Sophie’s experimentation and musing. As an exploration beyond traditional means of components, Integument seeks to present the broad capabilities by routing gear unto itself, using feedback as a desired trait and finding freedom in the unpredictable nature and technicality of no input mixing. Originating from Te Whanganui-a-Tara’s infamous concrete rave block BONDST, Integument have become since regulars across the city’s experimental scenes through venues such as Pyramid Club and mainstay Noise Drone Repeat. The project extends into multi-genre and multi-disciplinary ventures playing for the likes of Sigil and 13 Garrett Street.
