Loaded with a usb full of heavyweight tracks, Dub Sound is no stranger to the commanding the dancefloor. Diving deep into psychedelic bass frequencies, the sound that follows takes inspiration from genres such as Dubstep, Glitch Hop, Psy Bass and Downtempo. These genres collide into one to create a sound called Glitch Wub. Some of the artists that have inspired this sound include CharlestheFirst, Chmura, Comisar, Skysia, Sol Good and Saturna to name a few. The goal of this sound is to provide the listener with an emotional experience that creates a deep sub heavy visceral environment that's unique and not often heard in the NZ underground music scene. Dub Sound is a member of the collective Psymatic Sound whose common goal is to push this sound to bring a new take on bass music that is under-represented in this local community. Going back to the roots Psymatic started off by building some Paraflex C2E 18"inch subs in the garage, armed with an idea and obsessive passion for bass music that paved the way for more sound system building, tune hunting and creation of some original productions.
