Debt Club are a Pōneke (Wellington) based Alt/Folk Rock 6-piece made up of River Hann-Ellen (Vocals/Guitar), Flinn Bellam (Guitar), Elina Chester (Keys), Alex Vujanic (Saxophone), Darcy Monteath (Bass) and Maxime Zephyr (Drums). With rich arrangements that blend anthemic saxophone melodies with thoughtful songwriting, Debt Club craft a sound akin to indie legends MJ Lenderman and Pinegrove. Debt Club released their first two singles in 2024, and this year they’ve put out their third, "Little Lines," and fourth, "Windows." Both tracks feature on their debut EP, "Taste For Stout," released on the 5th of September. So far 2025 has been full of exciting moments; they had a feature article in Massive Magazine and shared stages with indie heavyweights Phoebe Rings and Australia’s Floodlights. Debt Club are currently in the process of recording their debut album which will be released in early 2026.
