Bad Taste is the brainchild of esteemed turntablist/beatmaker extraordinaire ALPHABETHEAD and multi-disciplinary lyricist YOUNG GHO$T. The pair put their heads together to devise their self-titled debut in 2020, a surreal epic inspired in equal parts by MF Doom and King Crimson. Since then they have released one more album, and they have a third coming this year. Their sound has been described as a form of psychedelic hip hop, with Alphabethead's production drawing from rare crates of forbidden wax and Gho$t's vocal delivery carving a stream-of-consciousness punctuated by punchlines. The pair are notorious for their energetic and theatrical live shows, having brought the thunder to places such as Newtown Festival, Camp A Low Hum, Welcome to Nowhere, and Twisted Frequency. Expect the unexpected when these two hooligans are in town.
