I am the third generation of female artists in my family and grew up in beautiful rural North Canterbury. Nature, love and life- force energy is the inspiration behind everything that I create both in painting, crafts and tattoo artistry. In my daily life I am a tattoo artist in Christchurch, this is a true calling that allows me to connect with beautiful people every day and use my passion of art to tell their stories. Painting has become a grounding practice for me to unwind, free myself from perfection and find flow in my artistic projects. My style of design and painting also pulls inspiration from illustrative, art nouveau and the arts and crafts movement. I have fallen in love with romantic shapes, exciting colour palettes and whimsical energy. Colour, vibrancy and the ever-changing natural world around us has created such a centred and joyful energy for me and that is what I aim to share with the wonderful energies around me.
