Tun comes from a family of artists, from both his mother's side and his father's side. He began his life as an artist after school, with the formation of the Donker Collective with his cousins; Fela and Dali Donker, and their friend Fouad Dchiri, following in the footsteps of their fathers (the Donker Brothers of the collective After Nature). Deciding against university study, the group found artistic and technical guidance with their fathers Gijs and Justus Donker in the Netherlands, and gained experience with Peter Klashorst in his Phnom Penh studio.    Tun continued travelling solo when the other members of Donker Collective returned home. He arrived in Bali, Indonesia, with just the clothes on his back, and his passion. In Bali he found his new mentors in the international artists, Antonius Kho, Pierre Guillaume and Theo Zantman.    Back in the Netherlands, the Donker Collective embarked on their nightlife-art trajectory with their first forays into the club scene with their hedonist black-light (UV) parties, body painting, live nude models and group action painting.
