Fantasia AV is an offshoot of Fantasia Events, specializing in live analog visuals / VJing in Otautahi, Christchurch. 

For the last year Jake and Bruno have been hosting events, as well as working with other promoters for visual installations, having built up a well respected brand in venues such as Flux and Sydenham Underpass. Primarily catering to the underground bass music scene. Although recently expanding out to the likes of punk/rock and hiphop. 

Our installations are built around using CRT monitors and TVs, however we also have some experience in projection. 

We tend to use a combination of older composite vision mixers (Edirol, Panasonic etc), alongside a few standalone media/GLSL shader players, and homebuilt passive switching gear. Usually taking a strong focus on crowd interactivity, with the use of cameras and various feedback techniques. All standalone, not relying on laptops with the exception of projector scaling, occasionally using Touch Designer with Xbox Kinect cameras.
