3rd Space was brought to life in 2024 when three friends felt as though that there were not enough accessible/affordable outlets within the creative scene within Pōneke.

Originally getting our foot in the door through music gigs, we quickly turned to market days, art exhibitions, bush doofs and a ongoing series called 'Dairy Mix'. Throughout 2024/25 we have worked hard with other collaborators and workspaces such as TwoFiftySeven to create meaningful, accessible and safe spaces for all communities within Pōneke.
