Root Basis is the dub-inspired moniker of Lachlan Mears. Evolving from its earlier identity as 'Low Key', the project bridges the gap from picnics and garden gatherings to introspective dance floors. In 2023 Root Basis and Sauin unveiled the label 'Teeth and Tail', marked by the collaborative release of 'Above the Abject Tide'. Expect anything from organic atmospheric soundscapes to deep grooving basslines.
