NymphLoads named themself after the way insects grow from larvae, through stages, into flying adults known as nymphs. They take that ethos of progression and plug it into their long-held interest in Latin American and African dance music. The closing set to club night hopes to transport you to the hot and humid favelas of Rio de Janeiro, where the oft-prohibited baile funk scene has only become more gangsta, chaotic, and off-the-wall.
