The Norman Foreman Kru is the driving force behind the renowned Dunedin label, Norman Foreman. From igniting dance floors on Stuart Island to captivating audiences in the upper North Island and everywhere in between, the NFK has become an integral fixture within the vibrant tapestry of the New Zealand bass music scene. At its core, Norman Foreman embodies the spirit of Kiwi creativity, showcasing 100% Kiwi talent and a deep-rooted dedication to electronic music within the underground Aotearoa scene. Over the years, NF has worked tirelessly to curate and release music from over 150 Kiwi producers, with appearances on the world-renowned Rinse FM and with tracks consistently garnering support from some of the most influential names in the music scene, Norman Foreman has cemented themselves in the worldwide dubstep community as the future of New Zealand electronic music. Through both their vinyl and digital releases, Norman Foreman strives not only to cultivate a sense of community within the New Zealand electronic music landscape but also to elevate the quality of music production and shine a spotlight on the immense talent our country has to offer. In addition to their label endeavors, the Norm Kru have supported artists from Mala to Paige Julia and have a familiar presence at numerous festivals, performing at Twisted Frequency, Rolling Hertz, Dimension Festival, and Solidarity Festival. Beyond the label and festival appearances, NF actively promotes and spreads the sounds of dubstep throughout the lower South Island, organizing international tours throughout New Zealand, bringing acclaimed dubstep artists such as Daseplate and Truant to our country, as well as hosting nights featuring Neffa-T, Jakes, Killjoy, Ickle, Truth, and Paige Julia.
