A descendant of the mushroom hunter clans of Central Europe, Ikona traded his hunting gear for a computer and modular synthesiser. Using a Eurorack modular system he creates deeply unique rhythms, echoes, dub-like basslines and ambient drones. This equipment is complex, agile, and allows the artist to improvise by ear and explore the deeper niches of live performance.
