Clay Louis is the alias of producer & DJ Jack Hurst, from Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa. Much like his productions, Jack’s DJ sets tend to float around the high-tempo bpm range, relentless and driving in their rhythmic focus, yet airy and euphoric, shifting through psy-inflected techno, hardgroove, free-party tekno, and halftime, to deliver a uniquely nocturnal and cerebral sound. 

Jack has provided support for international artists such as Al Wootton, Adam Pitts & Lisene, and Air Max ’97, and has a long history of musical performance, having played at DJ sets at 121 Festival, Index Records: Rave Festival, OK Listen, plus many more local shows.
