Adam Hollobon is a Southern Lakes-based promoter, producer and DJ. He has emerged as one of the foremost underground figures in the New Zealand techno and hard-dance scene. His precise skill upon the vinyl platform, and passion to push rave culture in Aotearoa/New Zealand is what sets him apart from the rest.  His own party series ‘We.r.repercussion’ has hosted club nights, rooftop parties and a series of infamous open-air 12-hours raves. These events, featuring local and international talent, encapsulate ravers in a trance until the early hours of the morning. This platform has provided Adam with a strong space to showcase his skill behind the turntables, as well as a space for the rest of the ‘We.r.repercussion' resident DJs to display their passion for their niche loopy, groovy sound. Adam frequently self-releases jams recorded under one take with his drum machine and synths, retaining a raw and humanistic sound to his recordings. Lately, this sound has evolved to also include live sets, as a new way to perform and develop his sound.  Catch Adam playing two performances in the Cobb Valley this year.
