Raumati Puhia, aka Raukikini, is a takatāpui artist and tattooer based in Pōneke. The name Raukikini means spicy in te reo Māori, embodying the soft yet fierce energy they bring to all their work. Raukikini’s practice flows seamlessly across canvas and skin, marked by organic forms inspired by te taiao, pūrākau, and their mixed Māori and Pākehā heritage. Their mahi is an offering - to themselves, to their community and to those who see themselves reflected in their work.
