Sapian is the artist name of Ayush Walia, based in Wellington, New Zealand. He comes from northern part of India, spent his childhood among the Himalayan ranges in a beautiful city called Shimla (Himachal Pradesh).

Ayush was fond of electronic music since he was in his early teenage, and got struck to psytrance scene in 2010. Was fond of Rock music too, but further, adapted the psytrance as the all time genre. Later, in the years realised that this love towards music can be expressed, there he started learning mixing.

He adopted the alias ‘Sapian’ in terms with ‘Sapien’ which means “Wise” mainly describing homo-sapien names for human species.

Ayush’s music style is dark and pumping. A mixture of some phat, bouncy and groovy tunes with an essence of wicked psychedelic kicks.  

At this early age with this unique taste of electronic music, the journey has been great and have been teaching him more through experiences. Creativity is what takes him away to a new state while DJing and that's what he wants to share with the people in the scene.
