Pill Murray

Experimental / Psycore, Voodoo Hoodoo Records (NZ)

Pill Murray is inherently hard to define. Combining elements of psycore, hitech, death metal, and breakcore, it would be easiest to refer to as experimental.

Stuart Henley-Minchington aka Pill Murray has been playing extreme music for over 15 years in bands around New Zealand, current projects include Blindfolded and Led to the Woods (guitar/songwriter), and Plague of the Fallen (drums).

Starting the Pill Murray project after a life changing experience during a Ludic set, the production quickly gained momentum and sets were beginning to be booked around the country.

Word of mouth of the Death Metal Psycore spread fast and the first EP "The Mourning after the Pill" was released through Voodoo Hoodoo records Canada and mastered by the notorious Black Phillip in Brazil.

No stranger to live performance having shared the stage with some of the world's biggest acts (incl. Sepultura, Ruby My Dear, Cryptopsy, Suffocation, Oroboro, Aborted, Dillinger Escape Plan, Revocation, Psycroptic, to name a few) Pill Murray live incorporates live vocals, live guitar, live drums, performance, and plans to continue evolving the live show even further.

For fans of Igorrr, Ruby My Dear, Ventian Snares, Whourkr, Sun O))), Mayhem, Dimmu Borgir, Batushka, and basically anything dark heavy and undefinable, Pill Murray is sure to put on a set that will be unique and demanding of attention, brutal yet beautiful, balanced, and exciting.
