A founding member of Wellington electronica-prog band Grains, peregrin presents an as-yet unseen live solo project featuring the Synthstrom Deluge, a Newtown-born box of rainbow music-machine magic tricks.

 

Layering improvised synth pads, rhythms and sequences inspired by the likes of Four Tet, Kaitlyn Aureila-Smith and Carbon Based Lifeforms, peregrin will take listeners and groovers on a journey through evolving sonic vistas, giving rise to glitched and syncopated rhythms (described by one detractor as "Diet-Coke Jon Hopkins, but shit slaps, I guess").
