Highteknician
Hi-tech, Bakery basement recordings (NZ)

My introduction to electronic music came when I was living in Germany some time back, where I
first discovered its wonderful diversity and power. However, I didn’t get into faster psychedelic
styles until my first twisted frequency in 2018, where during an early morning dancefloor session
I realised its potential.
For me the Hi-tech sound represents a style of music that carries a lot of energy, describing the
eclectic, high entropy nature of the universe we live in today. It has the potential to harness this
energy by mathematically formulating it into sounds, which our brains translate into music. The
tracks I play reflect what this means to me.
