Akasha began listening to electronic music at the age of 12 and soon discovered the psychedelic scene after moving to New Zealand. Awe-struck by her first outdoor party by the Dimension crew, Akasha discovered she wanted to be behind the decks. Soon after Akasha was dropping sets across NZ and made her international debut in Thailand, Malaysia, Australia & Malta.

In late 2019, Akasha signed to European label BMSS Records and released her first 10 track compilation 'True Grit' featuring Braincell, Martian Arts, Tron, Architekt, Lucid Mantra, Justin Chaos, Prohecht & Noise Gust, Entasis, Asimilon, Junkey Monkey & Kundalini.
